Meet Dr. Kristine Pedersen (Aurora, CO)

Kristine Pedersen, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, following dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Science Communication from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

After graduation, Dr. Pedersen relocated to Colorado with her wife and two rescue dogs to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Insight Vision Group. Her residency refined her expertise in glaucoma management, emergency eye care, post-operative care, and the treatment of ocular disease.

During her clinical training, Dr. Pedersen gained diverse experience in private practice, at the VA Hospital, and at the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center—where her commitment to compassionate, comprehensive eye care took shape.

Dr. Pedersen is an active member of several professional organizations and remains dedicated to advancing her clinical knowledge to better serve her patients and community.

Originally from New Hampshire, she finds balance in the outdoors—hiking, camping, and exploring Colorado’s natural beauty. When not in the clinic, she enjoys reading, training her dogs, visiting antique shops, and supporting local animal rescue organizations.
